My son has been attending Monstro Demo School for over a year now, and I have been incredibly impressed with the results. Not only has he developed impressive skills in karate, but he has also learned the value of discipline, respect, and perseverance. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and caring, and they truly go above and beyond to help each student reach their full potential. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a safe and positive environment for their child to learn martial arts.

I am so grateful to have found Demo Martial Arts for my children. Since they started attending the school, I have seen a significant improvement in their confidence, discipline, and overall well-being. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, and they make each class a positive and fun learning experience. They also place a strong emphasis on character development, teaching valuable life skills such as leadership, respect, and perseverance.

What I appreciate most about Monstro is their commitment to safety and inclusivity. They have implemented rigorous safety protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all students and staff during the pandemic, and they have also created a welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities. My children have made friends with students from different cultures and learned to appreciate diversity.

Monstro is exceptional training for all ages. We have been virtual since March and the instructors have been just as engaged and precise as they are with kids in class.

Program & Pricing FAQs

What styles of martial arts do you teach?

At Integrated Martial Arts, we offer Jeet Kune Do and Kali for students ages 14 and up. Jeet Kune Do blends techniques from various martial arts and focuses on practical self-defense in all four combat ranges. Kali is a Filipino martial art that emphasizes weapon-based training, including stick and knife techniques, as well as empty-hand applications.

Do I need any prior experience to join?

Not at all! Our programs are designed to accommodate beginners as well as more experienced martial artists. Whether you’re just starting your journey or returning after a break, our classes are structured to help you progress at your own pace.

What's a good age for a child to start martial arts?

Honestly, practically every age is a good age to start! However, we currently only offer programs for teens (14 years and up). We hope to offer kids’ classes in the future. To be notified when they’re available, feel free to contact us and join our waiting list!

What should I wear to my first martial arts class?

For your first martial arts class we recommend comfortable athletic wear (like a t-shirt and workout pants) and a clean pair of sneakers (no mud/slush). If you decide to continue, we’ll guide you on any specific gear or equipment needed based on the program you choose.

Is martial arts training safe?

Yes! Safety is a top priority in all our martial arts classes. Our instructor ensures a controlled, respectful environment where students train with proper technique, supervision, and protective gear when necessary.

How is Integrated Martial Arts different from traditional martial arts schools?

Unlike traditional schools that focus on one style or follow rigid forms, our approach is modern and functional. We emphasize adaptability, practical self-defense, and personal growth through the integrated systems of Jeet Kune Do and Kali. Our training blends tradition with real-world effectiveness.

Is there a hidden cost or obligation?

Nope — no hidden fees, no obligations. We offer a free 2-hour intro class because we want you to experience our program firsthand. We know you’ll find enough value in that session to decide if it’s the right fit for you.

Why do you offer a free intro class?

Because we understand that everyone learns and develops skills differently. Each with their strengths, weaknesses, and unique challenges. Our 2-hour assessment class gives us a chance to get to know you and gives you a chance to experience our program risk-free.

Are these classes fun?

Yes! We love to have fun. We believe you learn more and faster if you are laughing and smiling. We work hard here – but we play just as hard.

Do you have to be in good shape to take Martial Arts?

Not at all! In fact, many people use martial arts as a way to get in good shape. They come to us out of shape, and quickly become athletic and limber.
